In 2012, I founded a company that transformed the freelancer industry by returning the power back to the two groups that I felt mattered most - the people with the skills (freelancers) and the people with the jobs (organisations).
In 2023, my company reached $2bn in freelancer bookings under this mission and I decided it was time for the next chapter. That chapter is to tell the stories of these incredible, courageous, determined, adventurous, enterprising and intentional people who have chosen to pursue excellence in their craft and freedom in their lives and their audacious belief that those two themes need not be mutually exclusive.
Alongside this, I now advise companies on what a good freelance strategy looks like and how to execute a competitive advantage through contingent labour.
